Network

A network connects devices to share data and resources. By linking devices through cables or wireless means, it enables communication and data exchange.

Intranet

An intranet is a private network for an organization, enabling internal devices to communicate securely and share resources within the organization.

Extranet

An extranet extends internal networks to external partners via controlled access, supporting collaboration with outside entities.

Internet

The Internet is a global network of networks that connects devices worldwide, enabling public access to a wide range of services and information.

Local Area Network (LAN)

HTTP

IP

IP addresses identify devices on a network and direct data packets to their destinations, forming the core addressing mechanism of the Internet.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth describes the rate of data transfer in bits per second. Higher bandwidth allows faster data movement.

URL

A URL identifies the location of a resource on the web and consists of the protocol, domain, and path to the content.
